Akvaplan-niva, together with collaborating partners, offers advice and assistance to aquaculture operators in Norway with planning new or improving their existing land-based aquaculture facilities.

We have experience with smolt farms, research stations and land-based farms for cleaner fish as well as other types of land-based facilities. We offer assistance with:

The use of recirculation technology (Recirculated Aquaculture Systems - RAS) has increased significantly in recent years both in Norway and internationally.
